The Bridge Inn at Lenwade is situated 10 miles from Norwich on the A1067 Fakenham Road and offers easy access to the city, the picturesque Norfolk coastline and the county's famous Broads.
We are a family run Free House with a great local reputation for our home cooked food, accompanied by a wide range of wines and real ales. Open all day and serving meals from 12am - 9pm; we offer a superb Sunday lunch, a daily Specials board and cater for children.
Set in 30 acres of private grounds we boast 2 specimen lakes of 8 and 5 acres, 2 smaller carp lakes, 2 match/pleasure ponds and an enviable 300 yds stretch of the fabulous river Wensum. Our main lakes have produced Carp to 39lb, Pike to 26lb and sizeable Tench & Bream. Barbel to 19lb 8oz, Chub to 7lb 6oz & 3lb+ Roach have all been caught from our own stretch of the river. Day tickets are priced at £7-50 and Season tickets are available at £200, (£100 OAP's).
Our accommodation consists of 4 comfortable rooms, all equipped with TV and tea & coffee making facilities. Prices from £25 per person/per night include a full English breakfast and complimentary fishing. What better way to spend your time than a hearty breakfast, a relaxing days fishing by the river or lake, and an evening spent in the bar telling your story of the "one that got away".
For the non angler there are plenty of local attractions on our doorstep; including 4 different golf courses, shooting and horse riding. Other local attractions include a Wildlife Ark, the famous Dinosaur Adventure Park and Fakenham Races.
