Wellington Hotel
The Wellington Hotel is set in the heart of Cromer and a pebbles throw from the beach and town! There has been a pub on this site for over 200 hundred years, unfortunately the original site burnt down in the late 1800's, but was re-built not long after. The Wellington comprises of a large victorian bar,a pool room and a large courtyard garden which seats up to 40 people! The Wellington is a friendly pub and always has a great atmosphere! Sky Sports is showed daily and if you have a request,as long as nothing else is showing,we will be happy to put it on! We have great staff, who are always polite and friendly. We also have four letting rooms, which are all en-suite and have television,hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities.The rooms are basic, but very clean, bright and tidy!! We pride ourselves on the fact that we are family run and have been here for twenty years!!
In 2007,The Courtyard Restaurant opened its doors for the first time! This is located in the courtyard garden behind the Wellington and is a converteed stable block. It has a very relaxed atmosphere,and is currently being run by Clive and Rachael, a husband and wife team! Clive has worked pretty much in every hotel and restaurant around Cromer, including The Red Lion Hotel and The Cliftonville. He is a very experienced chef and his food is wonderful!!
